Humanitarian rights are based on principles and rules that are responsible for limiting the use of force and violence in international and non-international armed conflicts. On the one hand, these principles and rules protect civilians as well as military personnel who are not involved in the war on the battlefield, and on the other hand, they impose restrictions on the use of methods and weapons in the battlefield and conflict. Protection of the sick and wounded in war, passengers and crew of ships wrecked at sea, prisoners of war, victims of wars in international and non-international conflicts, and even cultural property are among the issues that international humanitarian law stipulates. This article, using a descriptive-analytical method, conducts a comparative study (commonalities and differences) of the humanitarian rights of civilians in international and non-international armed conflicts in terms of their nature, sources, and rules. non-international armed conflicts in terms of their nature, sources, and rules
