Between 2023 and 2025, tensions between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Zionist regime escalated into a direct and multidimensional confrontation. Culminating in Israel’s "Risen Lion" operation, followed by Iran’s swift military and psychological response, this conflict offers a crucial case study in modern hybrid warfare. Utilizing a descriptive–analytical approach grounded in verified sources, this article explores Israel’s strategic assumptions, the design and execution of its operation, Iran’s layered countermeasures, and the influence of regional and international actors. Findings indicate that although Israel achieved limited tactical objectives, it failed to realize its broader strategic goals. Iran, leveraging integrated deterrence—combining military capability, information control, media resilience, and public cohesion—restored balance and disrupted the adversary’s narrative trajectory. The conflict further highlights the critical role of narrative deterrence and public psychology in shaping security outcomes in the post-conventional era. Final recommendations suggest directions for future strategic research on hybrid conflict, narrative competition, and decentralized resistance structures.
