In the twentieth century, the historical role of revolutions and socio-economic transformation increased; a role that, due to the emergence of new technologies and the capitalist relations, paved the way against the obsolete social relations of absolutism. It includes definitions and concepts to the interpretation of the approach and consequences. Without genealogy and typology, revolutions are limiteded form of extensive transformations, without a framework, common characteristics and rules that cannot be studied as ordered unique phenomena. Besides, some of the revolutions have had transnational effects. In addition to domestic transformation, they have affected the global system and changed its configuration.
