Focusing on the concept of foreign policy tactics, this article examines the foreign policy tactics employed by the Iraqi Ba'athist regime against the Islamic Republic of Iran during the imposed war. The significance and novelty of this research lie in the fact that no study has been conducted on the tactical level of the Iraqi Ba'athist regime's foreign policy during the war and the methods by which its instruments were utilized. The research question is as follows: What were the foreign policy tactics of the Iraqi Ba'athist regime during the imposed war against the Islamic Republic of Iran, and how can they be analyzed? Employing an analytical and exploratory approach, this research utilizes a mixed method. First, through interviews, the foreign policy tactics were identified. Subsequently, a quantitative method was used to extract the frequency of the instruments and tactics employed by the Iraqi Ba'athist regime against the Islamic Republic of Iran. Finally, an in-depth analysis of the obtained data was conducted.
