Al Jazeera News Network, through its coverage of Middle Eastern events, particularly the Arab world, brought about a significant transformation in regional media and became one of the most influential news networks. This study examines the role of Al Jazeera in Qatar’s diplomatic crisis during the years 2017 to 2021. The primary hypothesis of the research is based on the idea that this crisis was linked to Al Jazeera’s performance and its approach to regional issues. By applying media pressure on the countries involved in the crisis, Al Jazeera extensively covered cases such as the UAE’s involvement in the Yemen war and the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi. These actions contributed to the intensification and exacerbation of the diplomatic crisis in the region. This study, conducted using an analytical-explanatory method and relying on credible library resources, reveals that Al Jazeera’s success in Qatar’s media diplomacy granted it significant influence over public opinion in the Middle East. This widespread influence led to dissatisfaction and negative reactions from neighboring Arab countries, ultimately resulting in Qatar’s sanctions and the emergence of a diplomatic crisis among the countries in the region.
