Abstract

This study examines Russia’s security strategy in shaping the new regional order in the Middle East following the 2011 developments. Utilizing a qualitative method and the theoretical framework of constructivism , the paper analyzes how Russia has redefined its identity as a constructive actor and promoted new regional security norms .This research applies constructivism as its primary theoretical lens . Key findings indicate that Russia’s military intervention in Syria , combined with multilateral diplomacy and trilateral cooperation with Iran and Turkey , has contributed to regional stability and the emergence of a multipolar order . The study concludes that , despite challenges , Russia continues to play a decisive and stabilizing role in the formation of the Middle East’s new security architecture .
