Abstract
After the collapse of the Soviet Union and the emergence of the South Caucasus region and the creation of a new position in the Caucasus and Central Asia, an opportunity arose for Israel to gain regional influence in the South Caucasus through its relationship with Azerbaijan. On the one hand, Israel has been trying to achieve its various goals by recognizing Azerbaijan since 1992 and cooperating in various political, economic and security fields.On the other hand, Azerbaijan's urgent need for technology,On the other hand, Azerbaijan's urgent need for technology, economic progress, foreign investment, and the lack of these facilities in the South Caucasus region have convinced the Azeri government that by establishing relations with Israel, Azerbaijan can be transformed and its security increased.
