Abstract

Transparency, as one of the new concepts in the last century, has attracted the attention of many scientists as one of the indicators of good governance. In Islamic researches, there have been many researches about matching the characteristics of good governance with Islamic thought. This research with the topic of "the place of transparency in good governance in Alevi thought" examines and applies the component of transparency in the governance and thought of Imam Ali (a.s.). This research has put Nahj al-Balagha as the basis for the study of Alawite thought and aims to answer the question of what place transparency has in Alawite thought and governance. For this research, thematic analysis method has been used as one of the most widely used data analysis methods. After studying and investigating, transparency in Alevi thought was divided into two sections: "The content of transparency in Alevi thought and governance" and "Necessities of transparency in Alevi thought and governance" and the results of the research show that in Alevi thought and governance Transparency has been at the highest possible levels and it has been explicitly mentioned.
